Angel wandered down the street, trying to find some sort of shop that sold pets. "I could have sworn it was down here somewhere," she said to herself quietly, cursing herself mentally when she couldn't find it. It was then that she decided to look around... And noticed that there was no one else around. She was all alone in a dark street that looked nothing like Diagon Alley. "Trust me to get lost in the place I was brought up..." Angel mumbled to herself, before leaning up against the wall.
She stood there for quite some time, before her legs began to ache. She slid down the wall, taking a seat on the floor. She started singing at the top of her voice, trying to make someone hear her and come and find her or something. "I can't believe I left my wand at home. It would have been so much easier with it..." Angel increased the volume of her singing, just waiting to be heard and found.

I was walking through Diagon Alley, just deciding to take a walk tonight. The girls were at my parents house. I needed some sleep but then once I dropped them off it was too quiet and I couldn't sleep. Weird how things like that happen. As I was walking, I heard singing and lit up my wand, following the voice as it became louder. "Hello?" I called out when I got closer, looking around.

Angel's head snapped up at the sound of a voice coming in her direction. "Down here! Oh. It's you, Riley. Nice to see you again. Even if I did barely know you before... Well, I kinda knew you, kinda didn't. We were acquaintances, I suppose you could say. How've you been, my good fellow?" Angel asked, standing up and facing him. She then remembered that, due to her new French accent, and her changed appearance, there was no way that he would remember her. "Angel Simons. Nice to see you again," she explained, making her look slightly less crazy than she did before.

I followed the voice, then hearing that once again the person that I had run into knew who I was. I was really starting to feel bad about this. I walked closer to her, listening to everything she was saying and trying to take it all in. She was probably one of the most chatty persons I'd met so far since I'd lost my memory. I just nodded slightly when she was done, chuckling a little bit to myself, wondering how I should answer her. I surely didn't remember her, but by the way she was talking, it sounded like that was the case in the first place. Sort of new her... so maybe this converstaion wouldn't be as awkward as the rest of them. "Umm.." I chuckled a little bit. "Nice to see you again too..." I started, even though I honestly didn't remember who she was, so it was more like a nice to meet you again, situation.

Angel thought back to the past for a moment. "We need to get to know each other. I hardly knew you before. I like met you once or something, and even then it was only briefly... Hmm.... Please get me out of here," she said, looking around and getting a little afraid. "I don't feel at all comfortable here... And I apologise for my uh... energy," she chuckled, "I had three ice creams before I came out here and got myself lost... Making up for the times I weren't allowed to eat it! Can you believe it? Not being able to eat ice cream! I tell you what, I'm going to fly back over to France and give those French professors a piece of my mind!" Angel started, before giggling a little and pointing in the direction he had come from, signalling him to walk out that way. She didn't want to be there any longer. She was getting quite afraid.

I just nodded as she kept talking about, deciding I should tell her that I know absolutely nothing about her. "Um.. right, so let's get you out of here then... and we do need to get to know eachother, cause I really don't remember you.." I said with a small apologetic smile. "And that's okay.. we're all hyper once in a while." i chuckled with a small smile, then listening to her as she explained why she ate ice cream and how she couldn't before. "That's... That sounds horrible." I said with a small nod, starting to walk the way I came as I waited for her.

Angel laughed about him not remembering her. "Don't worry about it. I don't really mind if you remember me or not. Means we can learn more about each other. Meeting 'new' people is fun, anyway. It will be like old times. You, me and our communication skills," Angel said, while smiling. She caught him up with his walking. "So, we'll start with the basics. How old are you now? I'm twenty seven, but I swear I look forty..." She chuckled.
Angel looked back down the alley way she was stuck in, and realised that it really was quite simple to find her way out. You just had to follow the wall. She felt like a complete idiot, but for once she really didn't care. She was too hyped up on sugar to care about anything much.

I chuckled a little listening to her talk, I wanted to tell her why i couldn't remember her, but I couldn't get much of a word in edgewise, so I just let her talk.
"Right.." I chuckled as she caught up with me. "Um.. I'm 27.. 28 in August though." I said with a small smile to her. "And you don't look anywhere near forty." I chuckled shaking my head lightly.

Angel paused for a moment to catch her breath and opened her mouth, ready to talk again; however she closed it a moment later. "Where are my manners?" She asked, sighing and shaking her head at herself. "Please, you talk now. It's not very ladylike to talk about myself for so long. You tell me a little about yourself now. I've already made a fool of myself, so don't worry about telling me embarrassing stuff. It's happened to everyone," Angel said, smiling a little and chuckling.

I chuckled a little as she told me that I should talk and nodded a little bit. It was amazing how fast she could spit out sentances and still actually make sense. "Well.. I'm married.. have twin girls." I said with a small smile, "But the reason I probably don't really remember you is becuase I got hit by a car about a month ago.. lost my memory." i said with a small shrug. She didnt have to know that I also broke my neck. People usually didn't react well to that.

Angel frowned a little. "Well, that's a spot of bad luck. Oh well. At least you survived," she replied, smiling warmly at him. She didn't feel any pity or sympathy for him at all, for some reason. Personally, she would hate receiving pity and sympathy for it. He survived, that's all that mattered. "Is your memory loss a permanent thing or just a kinda semi-permanent?" She asked, now simply curious. Angel was like that. She was a nosey person, but that was one of the things people loved about her. Or found annoying about her.
"And tell me about your wife and children. What are your daughter's names? And your wife? What's she like?" Angel asked, smiling to herself. She found it amazing how happy some people could be and how lucky they were.

I nodded lightly and smiled. "Yeah, it was lucky.. in a really unlucky kind of way." I chuckled. "Things like that happen to me a lot.." I nodded slightly, glad that she didn't really make a big deal out of it. Then again, most people I told were really close to me. "Umm.. supposed to be temporary.." I shrugged a little bit. "So fingers crossed I guess." I smiled faintly.
"Um.. well, they're names're Charlotte and Ariella.. wife's Riyann.. um.. This would be easier to answer if I actually remembered." I said with a small shrug. "I've had the amnesia for about a month now so it feels like I've only known them for that long.." I said as I explained to her.

Angel laughed a little. "Accidents seem to happen to only a certain few people, huh? I know how that feels, trust me," she said, chuckling a little bit. "It's good that it's supposed to be temporary. I suppose we won't know for sure until you possibly remember, will we? Are there no spells or anything to make you remember? I'm sure there's got to be some. There's some to make people lose their memory. There should be some to bring memories back. Has anyone thought of looking?" She asked. "Might be worth looking into."
The comment he said next made her frown a little. "Although, I must admit that not remembering your own family must be awful. Do you still feel the same for Riyann as you did before? Hopefully the accident didn't affect that in any way... That would be absolutely awful!" Angel decided, sighing a little.

"Yeah.. sort of sucks, right?" I asked looking over to her. "A lot happend to you too?" I asked her curiously, hoping she wouldn't mind me asking her. "But yeah.. temporary's good." I smiled with a small nod. "Um.. I don't know.. I was at Mungo's for about a week and they didn't mention anything." I shrugged a little bit.
I nodded with a slight frown. "Yeah.. and no, I didn't remember anything, or anyone." I said with faint shrug. "It is pretty awful... but I'd imagine more so for them.. since.. I don't remember.. so it's not really painful or anything.."

Angel shrugged. "Yeah, a lot happened. Still, you get up, move on and smile over things, right?" She asked him, a bright smile on her face. "Bad things happen. You need to get over them, otherwise you'll be miserable forever and ever and that would be awful... I have an odd way of thinking about life. I always used to be able to see the positive side of things, you know? I can sometimes now, but most of the time I get all sad. I don't really know what happened to me..." She stated, and she honestly didn't. She had changed as a person, and Angel didn't know whether that was good or bad.
She then nodded. "It must have been three times as bad for them as it is for you... Having your own husband and father not remember who you are must be just terrible. I feel for them, you know? But at least you survived so they still have a husband and a dad. That's so much better than having nothing at all, right?" She asked him, smiling once more. "I'm sure they're just thankful you're still here!"

I listened to her and nodded. She was right, but I would rather just remember everything. I was pretty sure that I'd be happier with knowing all that's happend, but I didn't really have control over when that got to happen so I tried not to dwell on it. "Really?" I asked her as she said she wasn't always on the positive side. "It seems like you manage to stay pretty positive." i said with a small smile to her. "But I'm sure you should allowed to not look on the bright side for everything.." I shrugged slightly.
"Yeah.. I'm guessing it was.. is." I said with a small nod. "But the girls don't know that I don't remember them. We've been pretending." I said as I looked over to her. "But yeah, I hope they are at least." I said with a small chuckle.

"The pretending game is good sometimes, huh? Sometimes it is more trouble than it's worth, but other times it's a life saver. I never did understand why things work out like that. It's like people say that ice cream is a good thing. Sometimes it is, but sometimes it isn't. I never did understand why life works like that. I'm just not equipped to deal with this life, huh? I was an antelope in a past life, you know? Yeah... I remember it like it was yesterday..." Angel started, then realised she sounded like she was crazy and soon stopped.
"You know, it's not the end of the world. You will remember things eventually, and everything will be so perfect and you'll be so very very happy then that you'll be glad this whole thing happened. I don't know why, but you will. Trust me on that one, yeah?" Angel said, smiling at him properly. She couldn't imagine her life without her memory, and she was so proud of him for how he was holding up, even though she hardly knew him. [/blockquote]

She started speaking again and I put my hands in my pockets as we walked, listening to her. I was about to comment on what she said but then she started talking about and mentioned something about being an antelope. "An antelope?" I asked her with a small chuckle, "How did you find that out?" I asked raising my eyebrows slightly toward her.
"Yeah.. but maybe it won't be perfect." I said with a small sigh. "It might be, but you never know, you know?" I asked looking over to her. "But okay.. I'll trust you I guess." I chuckled.

Angel shrugged. "I had a dream and it felt so real, so I decided to go to this weird woman and ask and she told me that I was an antelope in a past life... I don't get it either," she explained, laughing. "Anyway, were you going to say something before I told you about the antelope? It looked like you were..." She asked, as she would have hated to interrupt something he was about to say. [/blockquote]

I nodded slightly, listneing to what she was saying about how she knew she was an antelope and smiled with a small chuckle when she laughed. "That is pretty interesting though.. and.. weird." I said with a light grin, laughing a little bit. "Oh.." I started, when she said that she thought I was going to say something, "Um.. I actually don't remember... some kind of comment about life though.." I shrugged a little bit. "Nothing really important I'm sure." I smiled.

"Interesting and weird. I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or not," she said, giggling only a little. "Are we almost out of here? I'm getting more and more uncomfortable by the minute, although I'd almost forgotten I was lost," she laughed. "So what do you normally do for fun nowadays? Is there actually anything to do around here?" Angel asked him, slightly curious now. She couldn't really think of anything to do. It's been a while since I went swimming... She thought... I laughed a little. "Yeah, just take it as a complement. It wasn't an insult of anything." I said with a small shrug and smile. "Oh, right." I chuckled slighlty, "Yeah, right up here." I said pointing up ahead. "Fun.." I said with a small laugh. "Um.. Basically I've been hanging out with my kids and that's about it. I can't go back to my job till i remember, so kinda stuck." i shrugged slightly.

Angel frowned. "That's a little harsh. Wait, where is your job anyway?" She asked, curious. She then smiled, wondering what life would be like if she ever had children. "I wish I had children of my own. Life would be much less boring... It's also something I've always wanted. Even when I was seventeen. Still, it seems like every time I try, something happens and I get kinda... Stopped..." She said softly, tears coming to her eyes. She quickly shook them away and replaced her tears with a smile. "What sort of things do you do with your kids?" She asked.
It's a little too late for children for you, Angel. You're 27 and aren't even in a relationship. You haven't been in a relationship for ten years or more now... You'll never have your chance... Her brain was telling her, and she was greatly saddened by this fact, however she didn't let it show on her face. Angel didn't want sympathy of any kind, and she certainly hated it when people felt bad for her just for crying. It was stupid. [/blockquote]

"Oh, they told me that I worked at the Ministry.. A healer." I said with a small nod and smile. She mentioned wishing she had children of her own and I listened to her. She stopped talking after a moment, causing me to look over to her. It was dark, so I wasn't positive, but it almost seemed like she was about to cry. "Um.." I paused for a moment after she asked the question. "We go to the park a lot.. get ice cream, that sort of thing." I shrugged a little bit. "You still have time you know.."

Angel shook her head. "It's not as easy as that, you see. Children actually require a relationship because otherwise you know... They don't get made..." She said, laughing a little at how she'd described things. "It sounds like a wonderful family time, you know. Spending time with your children. Do you go out as a whole family? Your wife as well?" She asked, curious now. She could see the light at the end of the alleyway, this causing a huge smile to come over her face. She wouldn't be in the dark anymore. Just what she wanted. [/blockquote]

I laughed a little at how she described it and nodded slghtly, "Right, but I think you still have time. I started really early.." I said looking over to her. "Yeah, it's good." I smiled. "Well, right now, not so much, I'm sure we used to though." I said with a small nod. "She's just working instead of me now, she works night shift so I usually make her go to sleep when she gets home." I saw a light at the end of the alley and smiled a little. "Thank God, I thought I went the wrong way." I said with a small laugh.

Angel laughed a little at the wrong way comment, and let out a huge sigh of relief when she came out at the end of the alley. "So, what do you want to do now that we're free?" She asked, a huge smile on her face due to the freedom she now felt. "Wait, do you know where I can find a pet of some kind? I think that's why I was here in the first place..." She recalled, laughing a little. She was now so happy and was just smiling and laughing at everything. "Thank you for saving me, my dear. I owe you." [/blockquote]

"What kind of pet were you thinking of getting?" I asked smiling a little again. "And you're welcome.. and that's okay, it wasn't that big of a deal." I said shaking my head a little bit.

Angel thought for a moment, before shrugging her shoulders. "I don't actually know what I want to get. Something unusual. Something that not many people have, if you know what I mean? Maybe a bat or something... I dunno," she said, still thinking about what she may get. "What do you recommend?" She asked, smiling at him. [/blockquote]

I dunno either.. I was told that I used to have rats." I nodded a little. "But as for an animal no one has... I dunno, that's a tuffy."
