Trying... open;;

[Riley Pearson]

I sat down on the grass, leaning lightly against the back of the wooden post of the fence. Taken it probably wasn't the best place to lean... The fence was old and really it could probably fall over with the added weight I seemed to be giving it. I sat there looking at the wand for a moment, a book on healing flipped open to chapter one. I wanted to know how to do this again.. and I was getting impatient for my memory to come back.

I read the first few sentances trying to figure out the, most likely rather simple, spell. "Okay... you can do this..." I murmured to myself as I sat there, moving my wand and saying the correct phrase. A few sparks flew from it and I jumped lightly, hearing the fence creek as I hit it a little bit with my back. "That wasn't right..." I said with a small sigh, hearing a few branches cracking and looking up to see if someone was there.

William sat in the tree looking down at Riley from where he was. With a slight laugh he leans forward, but winces as a few branches creak he knows that he gives his location away. Laughing again he swings down, upside down, and just hangs there with his legs holding him onto the branch. "Hey Uncle Riley." He laughs softly, all of his hair hanging out of his face.

"William?!" Amiee calls out walking torwards the shack. William had wandered off, probably on purpose, agian and Amiee was trying to leave Hogsmead. Isabella and Jesse were just sitting in Three Broomsticks drinking a butterbeer. She knew those two wouldn't leave.

Hearing his mothers voice William looked to Riley and put his finger to his lips, as if sayng to not tell Amiee that he was there. Pulling himself back up into the tree, Williams hides again. As Amiee saw a figure over by the shrieking shack Amiee put her hands on her hip. "William James Matthew Baker! What have I told you about-.." She scolds but stops instantly when she sees that it's Riley. With a sheepish smile she laughs softly, "Sorry Riley. Thought you were William. Have you seen him?"

[Riley Pearson]

I looked up as I heard the branches cracking and saw a boy hanging down from a tree. He must've known me because he called me Uncle Riley, which means I should know him; but lucky me, I didn't remember anyone, at least anyone who didn't already talk to me and explain who they were. Before I could respond though, he told me to be quiet about him being up there and I heard a woman coming forward yelling a name, who I figured was the kid's.

The woman, who I must've known, stopped when she saw it was me and laughed a little, asking if I'd seen William. I was sort of confused and unsure of what I should do. "I, um.. it's okay... I-I'm sorry, but who're you?" I asked watching her. She must not have known that I lost my memory.

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee laughed softly, "So you're covering for him again then Riley." Amiee grinned and looked around. She reached forward and grabbed hold of his hand pulling him forward seeing if William was behind him. "Come on, Riley. Where is he. Isabella and Jesse are waiting at Three Broomsticks, can't leave them there for to long.

"And if a certian child of mine was here, he'd be having a butterbeer along with his brother and sister" Amiee called out hopeing that it would get William to stop hiding.

I still had the confused look on my face and shook my head a little, nodding toward the tree, saying that he was up there without speaking; trying to remember who she was, but failing to do so. "Um... but really, I don't remember who you are..." I said slowly looking over to the woman. After this long I figured word would've gotten around, but I guess not.

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee laughed softly, "Riley, come on. This is starting to get old." She said then looked up at the tree. With a small smile she nodded faintly and leaned down tightening her shoe laces and pulling up her jeans a little. She reached up and got hold of a branch and pulled herself up into the tree.

Just as she did William jumped out and ran over next to Riley. "Snitch!" He half laughed and half glared up at him. Amiee laughed jumping down out of the tree and took a few quick steps over to william and grabbed onto him. "Ha! Got you!" She laughed as he laughed with her trinyg to pry himself free. "Go on, get." She said. "You heard where Isabella and Jesse are." She called out to him.

"Still don't remember who I am?" Amiee teased shving Riley lightly on the shoulder.

I just shook my head as she pulled herself into the tree, then seeing the boy who I guessed was William jump down. "Um.. sorry?" I said, scratching my head a little bit, right before the girl jumped down too and grabbed him, telling him to go where Isabella and Jesse were.

I chuckled very faintly and she shoved my shoulder lighty and I shook my head. "I'm sorry, I-I really don't." I said shaking my head slightly again.

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee tilted her head to the side, "Riley come on. Jokes over."

[Riley Pearson]

"It's not a joke." I said seriously, shaking my head a little. "I don't remember you... lost my memory.. so if you could tell me your name it'd be great." I said with a small nod. I knew it had to be weird for all of my friends, but I couldn't hlep it. I didn't remember.

[Aimee Baker]

"Riley I swear if your still joking, I'm going to kill you." AMiee mutered her smile disappearing. "It's Amiee, come on."

[Riley Pearson]

"I swear I'm not joking, Aimee." I said shaking my head a little. "I got hit by a car almost two weeks ago... I woke up, didn't remember anything..." I said with a small shrug.

[Aimee Baker]

"Oh my god! Are you okay?" Amiee asked quickly looking over him slightly. How come no one told her that he had been hit by a car?

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded a little. "I am now... just the memory thing." I said with small nod. She didn't have to know that I broke my neck, they healed it okay and I didn't have to wear the neck brace unless I felt like I needed to. I actually probably should have it on... but too bad I guess.

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee put her hands on his shoulder lightly still looking him over. "You sure," She asked again. It was the whole motherly thing and being such a good friend to him. SHe was worried about him.

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded, biting my lip a little, "Yeah, I'm okay.." I said with a faint smile to her. "I'm just... sorry for not remembering you.. we're friends then?" I asked.

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee nodded. "you're one of my best friends," She tells him. "That was your god-son," Amiee told him. "And Isabella and Jesse are your god children also."

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded a little. "Wow.. well, um.. nice to meet you?" I chuckled a little. "I'm still really sorry still.."

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee chuckled softly and nodded her head, but it was pained because of all of this happening. "You were a groomsmen at my wedding," She tells him. "Yeah, nice to meet you." Then she shook her head, "No reason to say sorry. It's not your fault."

[Riley Pearson]

I didn't really know how to respond to things like this, I couldn't say sorry for everything. But I really did feel sorry... having people tell me that I was their best friend, or a groomsman at their wedding, or their husband.. and I just couldn't remember. "Yeah, but I still feel bad.. I mean I'd rather remember."

[Aimee Baker]

"I would be worried if you didn't.." Amiee muttered looking down. What a way to make a day depressing. "When did you get hit?"

[Riley Pearson]

"Um.. been almost two weeks now." I said with a small nod.

[Aimee Baker]

"This is what I get for living on the other side of you" Amiee said triyng to attempt a joke to lighten things up.

[Riley Pearson]

"On the other side of me?" I asked with a small chuckle.

[Aimee Baker]

Amiee laughed softly and shook her head. "I'm tired, three kids. Opposite end of town of you."

[Riley Pearson]

"Oh okay.." I said with a small smile. "It's okay though.. I'm okay, just a couple injuries."

[Aimee Baker]

"That's not okay," Amiee says now more worried about him. She reaches her hand out running it up and down his upper arm lightly looking him over trying to figure otu where the injuries are. It's a motherly instict that she's stuck with now, she guessed.

[Riley Pearson]

I sighed a little. "I'm really okay.. I-I just broke my neck, they healed it.. it was okay after a week." I said with a small nod.

[Aimee Baker]

"Broke your neck?! You could have died!! Are you triyng to make me-...make me-...make me impload or something?"

[Riley Pearson]

I shook my head a little. "I knew I shouldn't've told you.." I said quietly, "The point is that I didn't."

[Aimee Baker]

"Of course you shouldn't have told me!" Amiee said but stopped and sighed, "I'm sorry," She muttered and ran a hand through her hair.
"OoOo, mum break down. This dramatic scence is caused by one man."
"What will happen? Will she survive?"
"But the real question is will he? Stay tuned!"
Amiee jumped slightly looking over to where William, Jesse, and Isabella were hanging u[side down from the tree branch where William had been earlier. Sighing softly Amiee waved her hand at them as if saying, 'Go back up in the tree'.
"Aw, but I wanted to say hey to Uncle Riley," Jesse whined as Isabella pulled herself back up in the tree.
"No you don't, he's had a bit to much to drink I think personally. Wait until he sobers up tomorrow." William says and pulls himself up also.
"Aunt Riyann make you sleep on the couch?" Jesse questioned looking over at Riley. "Or did-"
"Go!" Amiee said cutting her son short. She didn't want to hear the rest of what he was going to say. Amiee really wished that she had children that were more..well more well behaved.
With a cheeky grin, Jesse put his hand out in front of him and did a bow as well as you can u[side down and pulled himself back up into the tree.
"I didn't even hear them get in the tree..." Amiee mumered softly.
