Troubles of Children [Jay]

"How can they create such a mess so fast?" she whines, cleaning the mantle of the fireplace. Today all the kids were at either school, or out with Briar to have as she put 'fun that your mother won't usually allow cause she's old.'

Having her hair pulled into a pink bandana, pair of old ripped shorts and a pink tank top she sighs looking at the trashed living room. Shell had already cleaned the kitchen, the dining room, all their bedrooms, bathrooms and every room inbetween that their hands could get on.

Shell sighs again blowing her one loose curl out of her face and starts dusting off the coffeetable with a frown. Even though they were old enough they wouldn't even lift a finger around the house. Isaiah would, until Jenny would call him a brownnoser and then that was the end of that. Shell whines again when she couldn't get a cupring off the table and hits her head repeatedly on the table.

Walking into the home, Jay slung his jacket onto the coat hanger and looked around. The house looked really clean. Jay was starting to wonder why Shelby was cleaning so much. SOme women would clean when they needed to vent out or when something happened. Either way, it wasn't good.

Walking around the house a bit more, Jay noticed that none of the kids were home. Something else that might be cause for worry. Letting out a long breath, Jay finally finds Shelby. But she's hitting her head against the coffee table. "That's not good..." He mumbles under his breath. She's dressed for cleaning, he can tell. Jay starts to wonder how long she's been going at this.

Walking over to her Jay puts his hands on her head so that she can't hit her head anymore. "Some might think that isn't the best thing to do Shell," He said to her kneeling down next.

She glances up at him with a sigh and just smiles faintly. "I know, but your children are mini tornadoes always ruining my house." she says with a small laugh before rubbing her forehead some. "Why must they always make a mess when they're home for a weekend? It's only two days but they manage to trash the entire place in the matter of seconds." she sighs looking around at the astrayed toys, scribbled pieces of discarded parchment and hair ribbons everywhere.

"So where have you been sweetie? Out working or were you just taking a walk?" she asks with a smile as she leaned her elbow onto the coffeetable, feeling the icky cupring on her skin making her whine again before lifting her arm and making a loud peeling noise like a bandage being slowly pulled off. "Can we return them?" Shell asks with a hopeful but fake grin.

Jay laughs, "So they're only my children now?" He questioned but only joking around. "And yes, they're only here for two days but there are ten of them so that equals about five days," He chuckled softly brushing some stray hair off her forehead.

Jay laughed softly grabbing a sponge and scrubbing on the table, "Been walking around outside, and no, we cannot return them." He chuckled.

"Yup. All of them are yours." she says with a nod before kissing his cheek lightly. "Oh good math there. Ten kids divided by two days equals in reality terms five days. I'm rather impressed." she says with a laugh before shaking her head.

"Lucky. I've been cleaning all day. I'm sick of this house. Can we just go buy a new one and make them live outside then?" she asks watching him scrub the cupring off slowly. "Thanks by the way." Shell nods with a faint smile to him.

"Well I sure hope I didn't give birth to them," he laughed softly. Jay laughed, "Yeah you like that?" He asked with a slight smirk looking up at her. Jay laughed softly and shook his head. "Can't do that. Law doesn't like it and I'm sure we'd be frowned upon by our neighbors." He grins then shrugs lightly. "No problem. I thought you might send yourself into a panic attack if you cleaned anymore." He teased.

"Yeah, you lucky man. I had them all or most of them anyway." she says with a sigh as she laughs at his smirk. That always got her to smile no matter what. "Yes I do, it's rather a turn on when your husband can do elementary algebra." she nods giving him a customary wink.

"Well it's not illegal, and who cares about neighbors anyway? We hardly talk to our neighbors now cause they're still scared of all of the kids. All we get is the yearly christmas card a bill stating the things that the army broke that year." she says with a laugh. "And that's not possible. I'd just most likely pass out on the floor if anything." Shell shrugs a bit at him.

Jay laughs softly before grinning over at her. "Ask me another question. I think I can do 25 divide by 5." He jokes, "You won't be able to contain yourself." He grins.

Jay laughs, "True, true." He grinned. "And either way it's not good so I must be your knight in shineing armor."

[Shelby Crescent]

"Oh you are so right. Now you get a special kiss if you can do 312 divided by 6." she says with a grin, just waiting for the answer. "I couldn't resist you if you can do that problem." Shell rolls her eyes a bit with a laugh.

"Knight in shining armour? I prefer men in uniforms thanks. Much more macho and knights are as cold as steel." she says with a small giggle just tucking a loose strand of hair back into her pink bandana.

Jay grins sitting there taking a moment to do the math in his head. "52. I'm waiting." He grins.

"Well lucky for you, I still haven't changed out of my work clothes. "Is that cloes enough for you?" He chuckles leaning torwards her a little.

Shell smiles a bit, with a nod. "That's right." she says softly before glancing at his work uniform. "Eh, close enough I suppose." she says in a sarcastic tone before leaning forward herself. Shell places one hand on his waist while the other dangled over his left shoulder. She smiles lightly before kissing him soft but deep letting the stubborn curl fall into her eyes again.

Jay ksses her back just the same and wraps his arms around her waist.

After a few seconds, Shell breaks the kiss and leans on her hands while just looking at him as if they didn't just kiss. "So, anything new with you lately?" she asks twirling the single curl about as if she was a fifthteen year old girl flirting with the older boy again.

Jay laughed softly pulling her back to him and crashing his lips back on hers.

Shell laughs a bit against his lips, but simply wraps her arms around his neck as she kissed him back.

Shell kisses him a bit deeper, running her hands up and down his spine a bit.

Jay can feel shives run though his spine and he leans back a little bit more pulling her on top of him slightly.

Shell smiles lightly against his lips again, leaning so she was almost on top of him proping herself so that her hands were holding her up.

Jay kisses her deep pulling her more down ontop of him.

Shell breaks the kiss just wiping the hair off his forehead and smiles down at him. "I love you Jay." she says softly, pecking his lips lightly.

"I love you to Shelby," He says back to her running his hands up and down her back.

She smiles still, but it fades when she glances around at the room. "My god. Can we go somewhere I don't know, more clean?" Shell asks with a giggle.

Jay laughs sitting up then picking her up heading torwards their bedroom.

Shell rolls over onto her stomach, wincing a bit. They haven't done that in a while and her body obviously wasn't used it. "Love you." she whispers, looking into his eyes with a weak smile.

[[sighs. XD there.]]

Jay smiles looking over to her, "did I hurt you?" He asked.

"Just a bit. We haven't for a while so it just hurts a little. I'll be fine, don't worry." she says softly leaning over and kissing his cheek lightly.

Jay kisses her forehead and wraps his arms around her, running his hands up and down her waist very lightly.

Shell scoots closer, leaning against his chest. She loved having his arms around like this. It felt as if time had stopped and waited for them to get out of the bed to continue on with everything.

"I love you Shelby..." He mummers into her hair.
