She shook her head as she caught herself hearing bit and pieces of his thoughts. She hated knowing what she could do. Ever since she told her parents...mostly her mother what she could do. She mother was in fact surprised, but glad. She told her that in ran in her family and that her mother had it. She also told her it skipped generations.So, I'm the lucky one.She thought as she shook her head and laughed lightly.
She looked at him and smiled thinking about it, trying not let her mind slip into his again. So much for all my hard practice. She thought foolishly. Should I tell him...? She asked herself. "I've got an idea...since you want to go to the park so bad..."She teased. "We can get ice cream or whatever and bring over here in the park and eat it."She nodded. at her quick plan.

[/i] He thought, as she took a while to answer. "Fine then" He smirked at her with a light chuckle. As he walked over to cafe with her. Turning to her Jack smiled. "So what would you like?" He asked her with a grinn. Her smile was some thing Jack always loved about her, for years he would always amire it. And he had always had a small crush on Cassy. Not that he would show that to her openly. Wow, she is so pretty. And her smile He thought. His thougths were always blocked as much as he could block them. Knowing as most people could mind read know, Jack always put a block up. Which yes block most of his thoughts to poepl but some could always pick up some words. [/size][/ul] |

She stuck her tongue out at him as she tried to preoccupy her mind with happy random thoughts anything at all. They walked a bit farther before they came upon the cafe's entrance. She looked up at him and smiled slightly before saying,"Well, I think we should see what they have first Mr. Clark."She said laughing "But maybe an ice cream or something."She nods to him before walking into the cafe and looking around at it's coziness. It had a couple of table and chairs not to mention secluded booths and menus carefully laid out on each table. She didn't know where to sit so she made her way up to the counter and took a seat.
"You have an idea if what your going to get?"She asked.

She felt his hand around her waist and really didn't think much of it. They were close friends and what ever he really did or they really did would never affect there friendship. It was not like she was going to cause another situation like she had done with Shelby and Jay. She still couldn't believe she did that she was not about to do that again. She crinkled her nose as he mentioned something about chocolate."Ew..chocolate."She laughed teasing him about liking chocolate. She looked up at him trying to see his reaction before looking at the menu once again."Hmm...I'll get an ice cream too since I haven't had one in a long time either. Maybe a strawberry sundae."She nods.

She rolled her eyes playfully at him before turning around and hearing him order their ice creams. She reached into the pocket of her jean and pulled out a couple of bill. Definitely muggle money of course. She would probably wouldn't be taken serious if she were to pay with money that didn't appear like theirs. She sighed slightly as she finally managed to figure out the total amount and handed the money to the person who took their orders. She smiled as she waited, not long after she paid did they receive there ice creams.
She turned to face him smirking slightly as she escaped his grasp and handing him his ice cream. Taking a small bite, she laughed and shook her head as she walked away from the counter."How mean, Mr. Clark you simply have no good taste."She teased.

Placing his ice-cream onto her nose, then pulling it away. Jack started to laugh, as Cassy had chocolate ice-cream all over her nose, starting to lick his ice-cream. "Thats a nice improvement..." She laughed and shook her head as she ate a spoonful of her ice cream."Yeah....I feel sorry for you."She teased as she continued walking a bit ahead of him. She had stopped and turned around when he called her. That was nice, chocolate ice cream on her nose. She shook her head and laughed slightly as she wiped it off."Really, so I looked worse before?"She asked her pretending to be offended.
She grabbed a spoonful of her ice cream and flung the ice cream at Jack, it practically missed but it managed to hit his cheek."Hmm....that's a nice improvement."She smirked slightly before continuing to clean off the chocolate ice cream off her nose.

She couldn't help but laugh at their shorting conversations. It was true Cassandra wasn't much of a talker but when you got her talking it was almost impossible to have her quiet for long. She continued eating her ice cream when she had stopped."Umm...maybe the park isn't such a good idea."She told Jack as she had already began walking away from it.
