"If such a thing can be, that is." I shrug slightly. "Feel free to ignore me though."

[Riley Pearson]

I shrugged a little bit. "Probably can't be... but I really hate thinking that I'm like that." I said shaking my head a bit. Was I really as bad as Shelby with all this relationship stuff? Or was I just really unlucky?

[Fitzy Patricks]

"Well, it's more a matter of luck than anything specifically wrong with you...." I shrug again. "Maybe family 'curse' would've been a better word than trait."

[Riley Pearson]

That sounded a bit better, I guess. "Yeah.. I think I prefer 'curse'.. no offense to Shell," Even though this is sort of offensive, "But I'd rather not be like her."

[Fitzy Patricks]

"Would anyone?" I ask semi-rhetorically. "Hell, does Shelby even want to be like her? I don't think you're being that offensive, honestly."

[Riley Pearson]

I shrugged faintly. I don't think that was really meant to be answered, but if it was, I would've said,
'I really hope not'..
"That's good.." I nodded faintly, I didn't really want to sound offensive.. plus, I didn't really know how they were standing. "I'm not sure that she does..."

[Fitzy Patricks]

"There you go then," I shrug, then pause. "How is she, by the way? If you've seen her lately."

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded faintly before giving another shrug. "Um.. yeah." I paused again. I'd sort of managed to block out our last visit. "Um.. She's, probably not that great actually. She was telling me how she was thinking about checking herself into Mungos.." I shrugged faintly again, not mentioning the fact that she kissed me. I internally shuddered and just tried to block it out again.

[Fitzy Patricks]

"Huh...." I frown slightly. "Did she say what for?"

[Riley Pearson]

I felt weird saying this outloud for some reason, but he asked and really he did have a right to know.. plus, I'm pretty sure she was going to be wanting visitors anyway, so maybe he would visit her? If she even ended up going, that is. "She wants to check herself into the mental ward.." Maybe that sounded a bit better than, 'she thinks she's gone crazy'?

[Fitzy Patricks]

"... Hm," I say again in surprise, pause a beat, and then can't help but add, "Well... about time."

[Riley Pearson]

"Did you notice her acting a bit weird too?" I asked a moment later, looking over to him again.

[Fitzy Patricks]

"Hasn't she always?" I ask, shrugging. "I finally met Ruby though, and to be honest I couldn't really tell them apart."

[Riley Pearson]

"... You've got a point there." I said after a short moment. Shelby always has been a bit... off. At least that I can remember she has been. ".. Really? I can usually tell them apart... well," I paused again and shrugged, "most of the time."

[Fitzy Patricks]

"There you go then," I shrug. "She's always been a bit off and you can't always tell them apart. I think she's nuts and Mungo's is probably the best place for her."
And it's a good thing I've never had a problem with stabbing people in the back.

[Riley Pearson]

I nodded faintly. Yeah, I could agree with him on that, she probably should be there.. and this time maybe they shouldn't release her until their positive she's a bit more sane. "This'll be.. the third time?" I asked a moment later, mostly to myself. "Maybe just her second, I can't remember.. but you're right, she should be there."

[Fitzy Patricks]

"This'll be the third time?" I repeat, raising my eyebrows. "Should I have known that, and were the other times voluntary as well?"

[Riley Pearson]

"I thought you did know." I said with a faint shrug. "Um.. Well, the last time was.. and I honestly can't remember if there even was a time before that.."

[Fitzy Patricks]

"Hm...." I frown slightly, then shrug. "Well, all I know is that the Shelby I remember was a very good friend but sometimes unhinged, but ever since she broke into my hermitude it's been leaning more toward the latter."

[Riley Pearson]

".. It's probably because she loves you and you chose someone else." I commented, thinking it might have at least a bit having to do with that. ".. But I think even if that's not it.. she's always been a bit unhinged.."

[Fitzy Patricks]

"I didn't bloody choose someone else," I mutter, immediately defensive and a little bit annoyed. "And she knew from the beginning that I'm not fully human, so she's got no call to be go unhinged because of that."

[Riley Pearson]

I looked over to him. "Okay, so you.. like someone else more than her?" I asked with a faint shrug. "The point is that she's not getting what she wants."
"Just because she knew, it isn't gonna stop her.." I commented a moment later.

[Fitzy Patricks]

"You're as bad as she is," I mutter instead of responding directly. "Except, of course, that she's unhinged and would be regardless of what I've done."

[Riley Pearson]

"I'm saying this from her point of view, not mine." I said shaking my head slightly, "I'm just saying why she's unhinged, or whatever."
"Well, yeah, but my guess is she's more so because of it."

[Fitzy Patricks]

I shrug slightly, shaking my head. "... Not my problem anymore."

[Riley Pearson]

I shrugged, not really caring either way at the moment. "Are you at least gonna go visit her though?" I asked, since I wasn't positive what I could say to what he said.

"Like I said, not my problem anymore." I shrug. "I give up, and will probably do more harm than good anyway."

I shrugged, "Alright, whatever you want to do." I said moving some hair from my face soon after. "She's not really expecting anyone to come except family anyway."

"As long as she won't be disappointed then, I guess." I shrug slightly.

I shrugged, "I guess.." Really, she might be anyway, but I could be wrong.
