I laughed a little, "Only that much?" I asked to her grinning lightly.

"Okay. I lied. Maybe this much." I said with a grin holding my arms far apart from each other.

I laughed and nodded, "Yeah, that's what I thought." I said grinning lightly again.

"Darn it. I just couldn't fool you. You're too smart for me." I said sarcastically.

"Hey.." I said laughing again. "You can just.. shut it." I added grinning lightly before giving her a slight nudge, joking lightly with her.

"But Riley, I couldn't possibly do that. Then you'd have only yourself to talk to, and no one to practice coversational skills with." I said.

"Ah.. right." I said before pretending to think and biting my lip a little bit. "Darn you Cassy.. you're just, way too smart for me." I added, shaking my head slightly before turning a bit to her and smiling lightly.

My eyes widened out of surprise as he said I was too smart for him. No one had ever said that to me before. "I hope you're kidding, because if not, that is the biggest lie I've ever heard." I said.

I laughed lightly, "I was kidding actually." I smiled brightly.

"Thank the lord!" I said with a laugh. Occasionally, I wouldn't be sure if a person was joking, like now. I hated when that happened.

I laughed and shook my head a bit. "What if I said that I wasn't joking though?" I asked a moment later, out of curiousity.

"Then you'd be a lier." I said bluntly. "It's common knowledge to me that while I may be smart in some ways, you are infinitely smarter in others." I explained.

I laughed faintly and nodded, "Alright then.. fair enough." I smiled. "And makes sense too.."

"Exactly." I said with a smile. I had a feeling that this was one of thoughs terrible coversation moments, so instead of keeping it to myself, I said, "God we're bad at this."

I laughed some and nodded, "We are really terrible at it." I agreed with her before taking another sip of my tea. Which was now too cold to really want anymore of it. "Hey, you wanna go get some coffee or something?" I asked a moment later.

"Sure. Coffee sounds good." I said smiling without a thought. Sure there were other things I should be doing like trying to find a place to live or a job, but nothing that had to be done now. Besides, I love coffee.

I smiled, "Good. I need a pick me up anyway. This tea isn't doing anything." I said with a small chuckle before standing up and tossing my cup of tea into a nearby trashcan, tossing my empty salad container as well. "So um.. What're you doing over here anyway?" I asked randomly a moment later. ".. Unless I already asked?"

I couldn't help but laugh at what Riley said next. "Sorry Riley, but that's pathetic. No one should ever have to ask if they already asked something. It's just wrong." I explained. Shacking my head I said, "No you didn't ask." Answering him was much harder though. After a moment I said, "I was heading over to St. Mungos actually. It can wait though." I said.

I laughed and smiled lightly over to her. "I know, right?" I asked, ruffling a bit of the hair on the back of my head. "I'm not running on much sleep." I explained with a small shrug. I nodded slightly at her answer, "Oh, what was it?" I asked glancing back at Mungos for a moment anyway. "Maybe I can help?"

"Sleep, no sleep, it doesn't matter. A question like that is just pathetic." I said jokingly. I shook my head in response and said, "Thanks, but no thanks. It's pointless really. I was going because I have some old wounds that refuse to heal completly. I was just curious if there was anything that could be done about them."

I laughed and shrugged. "Yeah, is a bit. Hate repeating myself though." I smiled. I chuckled at what she said next and looked over to her. "And what do I look like then? I can look at them if you want."
|
|
|

"Trust me. It's better repeating yourself, then asking stupid questions." I said with a smile. With a shrug I said, "If you want to, you can I guess. I would have thought that you wouldn't want to spend your time looking at injuries while not a work."

I laughed faintly and nodded. "I'll keep that in mind then." I smiled. I shrugged. "I don't mind much.. And plus, you're not some random person." I said with a small smile over to her.

"Alright then." I said with a shrug. I pushed up the sleeve of my long sleeved shirt, and pulled out my wand. After removing the concealing charm, a bunch of terrible looking scars appeared. I got them ten years ago as I was sent flying out of the upstairs window from shards of broken glass. While protecting my face, my arms had gotten the worst. “Is there anything that can be done, besides concealing them to more permanently get rid of them?” I asked.

I watched as she removed the concealing charm on her arm and raised my eyebrows slightly at what ended up showing over her skin. "Whoa." I said quietly, holding onto her arm carefully now and looking a bit closer at them. After a moment, I bit my lip slightly, "Um.. Might be able to fade them.. but I don't think you're gonna be rid of them completely.."

I laughed and said, "What did you expect? I fell two stories after being flying threw a glass window. I'm terrible at healing spells, and it wasn't as if I could just waltz right into St. Mungos at the moment." As he spoke, I nodded and said, "I expected as much."

I chuckled faintly and nodded, "Yeah, I guess this could be expected then.." I commented glancing up to her before looking back toward her arm. ".. Yeah.. We can try though.. wouldn't hurt."

"That's what they all say." I said with a smile. I thought back to past injuries, and doctor visits of my childhood. Thats what all doctors and healers said, but it never seemed to be true.

I shrugged faintly with a small smile. "Understandable.. but the difference is, I'm doing it for free." I chuckle.

I couldn't help but laugh at that one. He had me there. "And that makes all the pain worth it." I said sarcastically.
