Ever since that faithful night, everything for Hayley had been different. She had gone to America, to get away from everything, and change for the better. She had hoped it would be like a vacation, and when she returned, that she would be a new person. But this was not so for Hayley. Things had only gotten worse. Hayley had not only done the deed that will not be spoken of, but also couldn’t go wherever she pleased anymore. Previously, Hayley would go wherever, and whenever with nothing to fear. Now it was different. She was scared to go outside, scared to me seen, and most of all, scared to be recognized. Because of this, Hayley rarely ventured outside her tiny apartment anymore, not even to find work, or buy food. Today however, Hayley knew she could no longer stay cooped up inside. She was almost fresh out of food in her apartment and needed more. She decided she would go shopping in the muggle world, where there was less of a chance of being recognized As precautions, Hayley made sure to where plain muggle clothes, consisting of jeans, and a plain red, slightly over sized, zip up, over a black shirt. To hide her hair, Hayley pulled the hood over her head. As Hayley went outside, she took a deep breath of fresh air. After glancing around at the other people outside, Hayley decided that it was safe to go. There was a small super market nearby, so Hayley started to walk there. She hoped no one would stop her on her way, and that she would go unnoticed.

Courtney looked at the clock she had dropped off her kids at the muggle school closet to them. She had always wanted to have her children attend Hogwarts but that didn't mean that they couldn't interact and learn at a muggle school. She had also attended the muggle Catholic shcool when she was there age. She stopped going up until she turned eleven. That's when she had received her letter from Hogwarts. She could still picture that day as it was yesterday. She was jumping around holding her letter and reading it over and over again. She couldn't believe that she was going to hogwarts. She pushed those thoughts aside as she park her muggle car outside the school.
She smiled at her children as they went off and headed inside. She didn't feel like heading home and she was sure that a bit of shopping would do her some good. Even if it was grocery shopping. She had been to busy the last couple of days and didn't remember the last time she had restocked everything they had. As soon as her kids were out of sight she turned the wheel and began to drive to the nearest store. She parked a bit far and jumped out of her car locking it as she walked away and towards the warm emanating from the store's heaters. She wiped her feet on the carpet. All she would need was to fall right in front of everyone. She could just picture herself on the ground with food scattered all over the place. Grabbing a shopping cart she headed off towards the dairy section. She pulled out a small note book and and pen and began to make a small list of the things she might need.

Hayley rounded the corner, and finally came to the super market. She smiled at how familiar it was, despite not having been there for a while. To Hayley, each place she went to had a slightly different smell, and feeling. This supermarket was not exception, even when she hadn’t been there in a while. It was still all the same.
She grabbed a shopping cart and entered the supermarket. Generally, before going shopping, Hayley made a list of what she needed, because she liked to be organized like that. This time however, Hayley hadn’t planned on coming so she hadn’t thought to make one. As Hayley walked through the store, Hayley mentally made a list of what she would need. All her basic staples: Milk, orange juice, cheese, bread, crackers, cereal, peanut butter, vegetables, fruits, and chocolate. She could never forget about the chocolate.
Hayley had already gotten her bread, crackers, cereal, peanut butter, vegetables, fruits, and chocolate. Now all she needed was milk, orange juice, and cheese. Hayley always saved getting them for last, because they’re best refrigerated for as much time as possible. She headed down the dairy aisle to get them, when she bumped her cart into another. “Sorry.” Hayley said without looking up.

She jumped back almost letting a scream escape from her lips as she looked at her cart and at the person that she most definitely had ran into her. She picked up the notebook she had dropped and stuffed it back in her pocket seeing as her pen had rolled away from her. She couldn't reach for it either. She shrugged slightly forgetting about her pen and turned her attention to the person she ran into. She shook her head as the unknown person apologized."Don't worry about, I'm sure I would of bumped into you."She said with a small laugh.

Hayley wasn't sure what she should do when the women spoke back. With the situation she was in, it would be best to just walk away, and avoid conversation. That would be the smart, but rude thing to do. Or Hayley could just converse with her. After all, what harm was there in meaningless chatter? Hayley spotted a pen rolling on the floor towards her. The woman must have dropped it when Hayley knocked into her. She knelt down and picked it up. "Here." Hayley said handing it to the other woman. Hayley faintly smiled and said, "That's what they all say."

She smiled at her and reached for her pen."Thanks, I'm always dropping or losing one thing or another. Oh, I'm Courtney."She laughed softly and extended her hand towards the girl that she had collided with. She looked over to her left and picked up a carton of eggs, cheese, a tub of strawberry yogurt and two gallons of milk and placed them in her cart. Grabbing the note book out of her pocket. With the pen she had just gotten back she crossed out the word dairy on her list. "So what brings you to the dairy section?"She asked as she laughed. Not really knowing what esle to say to at least have some sort of conversation with the girl.
