I continue smirking faintly when I notice how this seems to have annoyed him, then shrug a bit and look around the room. "So this is Arden's place, then," I say unnecessarily. I actually kind of like saying unnecessary and obvious things; it's interesting to see what levels of sarcasm you can drive a person to. "Bit... lighter than Fitzy's. He likes to tack up garbage bags over the windows to block out all the light, like he's living in a cave." I frown faintly, then glance at Logan. "You look like the sort who'd do the same."

"You really like pointing out the obvious, don't you?" I shake my head to show my disapproval for this as well, because it's starting to get a little bit annoying now. I raise an eyebrow at that...because it really is a bit strange to go tacking up garbage bags... but I probably should have known he'd do something weird like that. Odd and annoying apparently. But then I've already started shaking my head, not because she's wrong because I probably do look like the sort who'd do the same, but because I resent being compared to Fitzy. I don't need to say anything though because I'm fairly sure my expression makes that clear enough.

"It's amusing," I shrug, smiling faintly. "As is your expression. Can I assume the hatred is mutual?"

"I'm sure," I mutter, then shrug, "Strong distaste on my end, I'd say, rather than real hatred."

"Well, I can understand how Fitzy would inspire strong distaste...." I laugh slightly. "But I'm not so sure about the hatred towards you. I might just have to keep talking to you until I figure that out."

I smirk slightly at the first part of what she says, because I find it quite amusing that even the mother of his child acknowledges that he's worthy of strong distaste. "Or you could call it quits and go and wait for Arden somewhere else," I suggest with a shrug. I'm growing sort of bored of conversation, and it's probably not going to be long before things get uncomfortable, so the sooner she leaves the better.

"Could, but where would be the fun in that?" I ask, smirking at him again. "I really do want to know, and then I can leave - what did you ever do to him the equal of what Heightington and his father did?"

"Granted," I murmur, because this is slightly more amusing than just standing around and staring at things, which is what usually makes up most of my day. Then I half-shake my head and half-shrug at the same time. I can't think of anything that I've done to Fitzy directly, just probably stupid childhood jealousy and 'corrupting' his sister, messing with her mind or whatever he thinks that I do.

"Is that your way of saying you were infuriatingly silent when he tried to ask you a question?" I ask, then smile slightly.

I shake my head amusedly, then shrug briefly, "That's my way of saying that it's about time you stopped asking me questions."
