I just raise an eyebrow as we get the glare. I've gotten it enough times in the past year to have just stopped caring by now whether my son hates me or not.

For a split second Abby reminds me of Violet, who was covered in cereal the last time I saw her, and that reminds me I should go and see her again soon. Probably later today if I can manage it.
