I nod, nothing else to say to that but certainly agreeing. I do very much want her to be alive.

I sighed again and shrugged. "I don't know.." I said not knowing what to say either.

I shake my head in agreement, looking at the ground. I really think I need to go and have a talk with Arden sometime soon.

"So um.. we're not going to turn him in then, right.?" I asked him a moment later.

"Apparently not," I mutter, wishing that we could but really not wanting to risk. I also don't want to risk what'll probably happen if we don't turn him in, but maybe this is the lesser of two evils and will hopefully teach her a lesson without doing too much damage to her psyche.

I was actually pretty glad to hear him say that. Taken, it's obvious I don't want them together, but I definitely don't want her to kill herself. Also I just didn't want to turn him in for some odd reason. I didn't like Azkaban and I didn't really think that anyone should be locked up there... unless he does something to her, then I probably won't have issues with it.

I shrug again, then happen to glance at Melody and notice that she seems to be eating dead grass. Huh.

I looked at him as he shrugged and then followed my eyes over to where he looked, over to Melody, who was eating dead grass. I raised my eyebrows slightly and looked back to Fitzy. "Shouldn't you maybe stop her?"

"I don't know...." I shrug slightly, eying her. "I'm not sure if she's actually eaten any, and it can't be that bad for you, can it?"

"Um.." I paused for a moment as if to think if it was or wasn't bad for her, but really, I was just thinking about how it was odd that she was eating.. or putting grass in her mouth? "I'm not sure actually... I guess not, if it doesn't have chemicals on it or something..."

"Hm." I eye her again for a second, then shake my head and just move over to her, picking her up and pulling the grass out of her hand... as well as brushing bits off the side of her mouth. "You're trying to be even weirder than expected, aren't you?" I mutter, while her face falls slightly.

I watched Fitzy walk over to her and then proceed to pick her up and take the grass away from her. I saw her face fall and frowned faintly to myself. I hated seeing little kids even get slightly upset. Which is probably actually why my kids tended to get whatever they wanted. That, and I usually don't feel like arguing with them over the same things repeatedly. "Probably no weirder than you, Fitz.." I said with a small shrug as I put my hands back in my pockets. I smiled after feeling around in my pocket and walked over to her, wrapping my hand around a coin that happened to be there. I stopped in front of her and did probably one of the most cliche things someone could do... well, mainly old guys it seemed... and pretended to pull the coin out from behind her ear, wondering if she would even know what I was doing.

"I'm pretty sure I never ate grass," I say dryly, then raise my eyebrows at him with the coin thing. The one time I ever met Lilith's in-laws - who apparently, to my amusement, pulled her aside afterwords to advise that she not let "that creepy man" too close to her children - I'm pretty sure the old guy... dad... Mr. Stewart spent most of the visit doing weird things with coins like that and calling them magic. Melody stares, neither amused or freaked out, as far as I can tell. I think she might like shiny things, anyway, so she's probably hypnotized.

I shrugged a little bit. "But I'm sure you've done other things that can qualify you as a bit weird.." I said glancing over to him. "Is she alright?" I asked a bit later. Melody didn't really do anything but stare at me and since she didn't take the coin, I just straightend up a bit and put it back in my pocket.

"Probably," I shrug. "Though mine lean more toward 'disturbed' than just 'weird.'" Then I laugh slightly, shrugging again. "Sure, she's fine. This is what she does, mostly."

I laughed a little bit and nodded. "I might have to agree with you on that one.." I said with a small smile. "Really? She's sort of just... staring.." I said looking at Mel before back to Fitzy.

"Yeah," I shrug again. "That's what she does for entertainment. She likes to just look at things."

"Oh.. I guess I just.." I paused for a moment, shaking my head slightly, "wasn't expecting that." I said looking back up to Fitzy. "I figured maybe she was like this around other people or something, but she was different at home." I shrugged a bit.

I shrug slightly again, nothing more to say, while Melody gives one of her random, unexpected grins.
