I watched her and stayed silent, shaking my head faintly to her with a small frown. "I can't do that, Shell.." I told her quietly, feeling awful about this whole thing. But I knew that I really couldn't do that. Not after what I just went through with her.
"You need to stay here for a while I think..." I added looking over to her with a small frown. "You can read you chart if you have to.."

"Riley, Please. I'm not one of these nutter people who randomly spaz out over werid things. " she asks standing up and walking over to him. "You have to understand. Sometimes people lose it for a few seconds... then they're back to normal. Like with the whole Ruby thing. Come on, I'm sure the kids are getting worried." she says heading towards the door again.

I shook my head. "Shelby, if that was the case, I would be trying to get you out.. but I just can't." I told her, hoping that she could hear the sympathetic tone in my voice. I wanted to let her out, but I really couldn't. "And Isiah brought you here.. so I wouldn't be surprised if they show up eventually.." I said nodding a little bit.

Shell looks at him, feeling a few tears fall down from her clouded blue eyes. "So... you're saying I am a nutter. Everyone's finally right. Shelby Crescent will always be alone, miserable and slowly become crazy and mental." she sobs lightly sitting down onto the bed with her coat still on as she curled up into a small ball staring at the wall. "Riley... what am I gonna do? How do I get better?"

I sighed and walked over to where she sat down, sitting by her. "I'm sure it's nothing permanent, Shelby... I just think that, that maybe you need some rest is all..." I told her frowning a bit. "And you're not alone.. but I don't know.. This isn't my floor.. I really thnk you might just need a lot of rest.. and no stress.."

"I don't need rest. I'm perfectly fine... can you ask Fitzy to come by? Maybe even Jack or Briar perhaps too?" she asks him as she pulled some covers around her as she started to move into the bed as if she was surrendering to a well fought battle. "Oh and can you sneak me an extra jello cup that would be nice too." Shell says with a grin as she took a bite from the cup again before ruffling his hair up a bit.

"You are right now, but you didn't see yourself ten minutes ago." I said, shaking my head faintly, before nodding at what she asked. "Yeah.. I'll try to get ahold of them and tell'em to stop by." I said with a faint smile. "And yeah.. you can have all the jello you want.." I chuckled, ruffling her hair right back.

Shell rolls her eyes briefly before smiling at what he said. "Thanks Ri, for the jello mostly." she teases before reaching to ruffle his hair again. "Don't touch the hair. We've had this discussion before."

"You touch mine and I'll touch yours." I said with a small laugh, but still not ruffling her hair again this time, despite wanting to. "And you're welcome.. Just ask your nurse if you ever want any.. I don't think they deny jello.."

I smiled a little and shook my head, "Whatever." I said messing up her hair again, grinning lightly. "... Sorry, promise that was the last time.."
I nodded, "Yeah, I can stay unless I get paged.. so yeah.." I smiled faintly.

I grinned and nodded. "You know it." I chuckled faintly. "But I am making sure you get jello.." I added.
I shrugged a little bit and let out a small sigh. "Hey, wanna hear something funny?" I asked a moment later, just wanting to keep up the conversation. "I think a couple nurses here fancy me."
