"Okay. Like he said it's just a study hanging out thing..." she says glancing in her bedroom mirror as she brushed off her striped turquoise blue and pink sweater that hung on a little off her shoulders and a jean skirt with her classic matching converse shoes. Running her fingers through her hair once again she heard a knock on the door.
"Just studying. Just studying. Serenity Amarial Crescent, it's just a study session with your best friend. Calm." she chanted to herself the hundredth time that day before opening the door to see Ben standing in front of her.

It's just a study date... hang out thing... Ben thought to himself as he walked up to Jenny's door. He took a deep and let it out looking up at the door. Which is why you actually brought a couple books.. Ben added in his mind before knocking lightly on her door and shaking some of his straight brown fringe from his eyes.
He wished he would stop being nervous because the last thing that he needed was to be nervous and start sweating or something else equally as unattractive.

"Hey you." she says with a smile as she let him in and looked around her loft. "Well it's not much but it's better than at home." she says glancing over at him. "So what did you bring to study?"

He cracked a slightly crooked smile toward her when she answered the door, "Hey." Ben said back to her, before walking in and looking around her loft. "It's nice." He said, looking back to her with a smile. "Um.. I got History of Magic.. Charms, and Transfig."

"Not really. I want to paint it light blue or yellow but I can't really afford paint." she says with a laugh before looking down at the books. "Okay then. History of Magic is personally my weak point though I love Charms." Jenny adds walking over to the greyish-blue couch and sitting down near the edge. "Did you want something to drink or do you want to just study?"

He nodded slightly, looking around. "I bet I could chip in a bit." He said looking back over to her, smiling. He nodded a bit when she said that History of Magic wasn't her strong point. Was it anybody's? That class was just boring..
Ben smiled and walked over to the couch with her, "Awesome." He commented on the Charms. He liked that class, he just couldn't get down a lot of it. Ben set down his books and then looked back up to her when she spoke again. "Um.. yeah, water sounds good actually." He said with a smile.

Jenny smiles getting up and walking over to her faucet, letting the water flow into a glass. After a few seconds she walks back and handing him the glass. "So what are you having a problem with specifically? And I couldn't let you chip anything in, unless you decided to live here." she says turning a light pink color.

"Thanks." He smiled to her, taking the glass of water and taking a drink of it before setting it down. "Um.. Mainly the patronus charm.. a few others that aren't really coming to mind right now." He admitted with a small laugh.
He swear he thought that she blushed a little bit, but he hightly doubted that and just overlooked it. "Course you could. Just let me help."

"I said no. I'll figure something out." Jenny says after a few seconds with a sigh as she flipped through the book. "Patronus charm huh? Alright get up and come over here." shes says taking his hand leading him over to an open spot in the loft. "Okay. Think of your happiest thought. To be honest, my thought won't probably happen but it makes me the happiest. Like for instance winning the muggle lottery, getting all O's for your NEWTS, someone you like." she says with a wink before nodding at him. "Try."

"Whatever floats your boat." Ben said, shaking his head slightly with a small sigh and smile.
He nodded and followed her over to the open spot in the loft. He laughed a little bit at what she said. "Any of those things could happen.." He said with a small shrug, smiling over to her, laughing a little more as she winked, hoping he wasn't blushing at all from that.
"Alright.. Gimme a second." He said smiling, trying to think of a happy thought.
Alright.. Happy thought... Um.. well, Jenny, obviously.. He thought to himself. Yep, exactly what she said, something that won't happen. He added in his mind, thinking about her and him painting the loft together.. actually being a couple. That was pretty happy sounding to him.
He nodded a moment later. "Okay, I got one."

"I was just giving examples. Mine is my parents actually getting along and maybe back together." she says with a sigh before nodding faintly at him. "Alright now try the spell and keep thinking about your thought." Jenny grins waiting for his patronus to run around the room.

He smiled a little bit with a small nod. "I know.. and that's a good thought." Ben said, looking over to her.
He nodded with a small sigh, "Alright.." He said with a smile back to her, bringing the thought back to his mind and thinking it for a few moments. "Expecto Patronum." He said as he held his wand out. A moment later, a faint ghostly figure came shooting out of his wand. He wasn't sure, but he was pretty sure that it was a squirrel.. or maybe a chipmunk?

Jenny laughs a little, noticing it looked much like a squirrel.. or was it a chipmunk.. or a ferret? Either way it was some creature. "Good, good! Make the thought even happier to make it brighter now Ben." she says watching the creature scamper around the wood floor.

Ben laughed a bit with her and nudged her arm slightly with his hand. "Shut it." He said jokingly with a small grin as he laughed a bit more. He nodded, trying to make the thought happier.

He froze for a second before laughing a little bit, as she kissed his cheek. "Ew.. Jenny germs.." He said, scrunching his face slightly and wiping off his face, as he joked with her. "Yes, Jenny, I secretly love you." He said with a small wink back, feeling slightly he was keeping cool about it, but was going completely mental in his own mind.
"Sounds good." He said with a small smile and nod.

She gasps lightly, frowning a bit before feeling smirk crawl on her face. "Jenny germs huh?" she says turning around and placing the book on the table. She walks back over to Ben before kissing him lightly on the lips and tugging away. "Now those are germs Ben." she smiles just waiting for his reaction.

The next thing Ben knew, Jenny was kissing him. She pulled away and he completely froze, in no way was he expecting her to do that. He wanted to come up with something to say.. some kind of witty remark or comment, but he really couldn't.
A few moments passed and he sort of just stared at her before blinking a bit and rubbed the back of my neck, not saying anything yet.

A moment passed after she spoke again and he choked out a small laugh, shaking his head a little bit. "Um.. Y-yeah, I'm fine." He ended up saying, stuttering faintly over the one word and smiling to her as he rubbed the back of his neck. "You just took me by surprise is all."
