Confrontation [Riley]

I was going about what I usually did on my day off.. keeping the girls out of trouble but at the same time, not locking them in their rooms and running around the house because I can't remember where I put something that Justin needs. Both of those things, plus trying not to go insane from living with my parents. I loved them, but after living in a different house for so long, it was slightly difficult not to get bothered sometimes.
There was a knock at the door and I picked up a few toys that were on the floor, setting them on the kitchen table before walking over to the front door. Wonder who it is... I thought to myself when I was a few feet from it.
I opened the door and seeing Jack standing outside, I was sort of surprise. "Jack, hi." I said sort of offhandedly. "What brings you here?" I asked with a faint smile, wanting to be friendly. Plus, he was a friend, I just never really got to talk to him much.

[/b] He responed with, a small smiel gracing his lips as Jack didn'ty know what else to really do. He didn't even understand why he was here so Riley's next question was a bit hard for him to answer. But Jack thought quickly on time. And after looking around at the door frame he looked back to Riley. "Um I've come to see how every thing is. I mean how Riyann is?" He asked. The secound question being asked after a shrot pause.[/ul][/size]

I heard his question and paused for a moment just looking at him before averting my eyes slightly. Riyann was a sore subject lately. In fact, I hadn't even really spoken about the day she came here yet. I didn't really want to and would much rather just forget that it happend. I brought my eyes back to his a short moment later.
"Um.. I honestly don't know how she is." I said shaking my head faintly. ".. I take it you know she's not there anymore then?" I asked a moment later.

[/i] He thoguht before lookng back to Riley. "Oh alright then. And not exactly, but shouldn't you really still be caring for her and all, as she the mother of your children?" Jack asked with a small frown. Jack hated it when people stopped caring for others over arguments.[/ul][/size]

I should've seen that question coming. I wasn't sure how I should answer that. Mainly because I wasn't really sure myself. I paused for another moment, frowning slightly now too. "I did.. and I tried to, but it's hard to care for someone when they don't want you to." I said with a faint shrug. The shrug was only to say that I didn't know, it wasn't like I didn't care at all. I did, but I just.. after that fight we had and after what she did, or what was going to do, I just didn't know anymore.

I nodded a little bit. "I know.. She came here first.. to see the kids." I said to him after a short moment. I guess I hadn't been paying much attention to the news lately then, because I missed that. Maybe I should actually read the Daily Prophet once in a while.

He asked me a few questions at once and I had to think about which one I should answer first. "I would've helped her if she would've let me." all she did was threaten my friends. "She didn't say where she was going.. but she was with some girl named June.. if that helps at all?" I asked looking at him with a slighlty puzzled look. "Blonde.. sort of tall?" I added.

[/b] He told Riley. Just standing there thinking for a moment of two. "Hang on why did you divorce her in the first place Riley? I mean you broke her heart?" Jack asked it had been bugging him since he had gone to see Riyann.[/ul][/size]

"I broke her heart?" I repeated, raising my eyebrows a little bit."I never would have done anything to her if she hadn't broken mine first." Yes, I knew that sounded awfully childish, but I still said it. I shook my head a little bit. "I forgave her when she cheated on me, I forgave her when she left me.. for my cousin at that, but I didn't think I could do that this time, not after what she did." I said shaking my head a little bit, feeling another knot form in my throat. I was wondering now if he even knew what she did and well, I didn't really want to tell him if Riyann wouldn't say anything to him about it herself. If she wanted him to know, she would tell him, that wasn't really my job. "Divrocing her was one of the hardest things, I have ever done.. and I probably wouldn't have even gone through with it if she hadn't handed me the papers."
I knew I probably just spoke way too much for that one little question, but I just seemed to keep going. That sad part was that I didn't think I really even said everything that I wanted to.

[/b] Jack told him, he thought he had repeated himself again but Jack didn't care. He didn't love Destiney or Bella any more, but that didn't mean he was going to abandon them in cold blood and war. "Why haven't you searched for her Riley?" He asked him.

"I tried to be there for her.. she came here.. we got in a fight and she left." I said quietly shaking my head faintly. Jack was starting to do a pretty good job of making me feel bad... it wasn't even that I didn't love her anymore.. I was pretty sure that there would always be a part of me that did.. I just, well, I guess you could say that I was angry with her. Angry, confused and just upset that it ended up this way.
"She doesn't want to see me, so I feel I'm doing her a favor by leaving her alone." I said after a moment. I think that answered his question, but I was wasn't sure if I missed something or not because thinking about all of this just made me a mess.

[/b] He told Riley. It was liek Jack was judging him for what he had done! It was Jack that started Riyann with the affairs, or at least it felt like that to Jack. "Riley no boyd could not want to see nobody, has she come to see the kids?" Jack wanted to make sure Riyann was doing what she promised him in azkaban that day/night. But it still felt like Jack had done this to her and Riley. But know one would ever know would they?

I nodded faintly, frowning down to the ground. "Yeah.. that's why she came by.. to see the kids." I told him with a small nod. "But then my mum found out she was here.. big mess.. so I can pretty much guarentee she won't be back." I added, unsure if it was really necessary to add, but it was too late for that, wasn't it?
I really was starting to wonder what exactly he knew.. or what he thought had happend. Becuase it didn't really seem like he did and I wuldn't mind knowing what his reaction would be if he was in my position.

[/b] Jack added as he bit his lower lip in anger. Jack thougth that Riley would have gone after her? I mean why wouldn't he? Jack would of, no matter what. But then again not many people were like Jack, not many people at all.

I'd gone after her, one too many times, which was why I decided not to that time. Was it a mistake? I really didn't know... but right now, I didn't really feel like it was. If that meant I was a terrible person then so be it.
"It's good that she came to see the kids.. yeah." I said with a small nod.

"Hey, s'not your fault." I said with a small shrug. "But thanks.." I added with a small nod. And it really wasn't.. at least not to my knowledge.

I found this question to be pretty odd.. unless this was why he thought we got divorced, which could be very possible if he didn't know the real reason. I nodded slightly, "Yeah.. unless she didn't tell me about them... which is possible, I guess." I said with a faint shrug.

I paused for a moment, "You mean how many times she cheated on me?" I asked just to clarify. "... I'm not really sure on the number of times.."

I nodded a bit, "Yeah, it was a quite a bit.." I told him with a small nod. "Unless it just feel like it was.. I dunno anymore."

[/b] He asked Riley, well it was more of a statement than any thing else but could be freely answered. 'Yeah what about me?' "Did she ever tell you who she cheated on you with?" Jack asked him. Just in case Jack's name had been mentioned.[/ul][/size]

I shrugged. "I don't really know.. she just did." I said looking back up to him. I really couldn't remember her ever giving me a reason. I sighed slightly and shrugged again. "Logan.. Shelby.. Some kid from school.. can't remember his name." I shrugged again. I felt like there were more, but I couldn't think at the moment.

[/b] Jack asked slightly stunned. He knew shell had been both ways, means of Kyra. But never with Riyann no it just wasn't possible. "When was the last time Riyann cheated on you? And with who Shelby?" Jack asked him becoming more and more angry. 'So shes cheated on me with my best friend. Well best friend my arse!' He turned up his nose and looked back up to Riley waiting for an answer.[/ul][/size]

I nodded when he asked that and bit my lip slightly. Maybe that's not such a good thing to mention. But Shelby had been the one she'd cheated on me with the most.
"Um.." I paused for a moment. "It was a while ago.. probably the beginning the of year or so. And yeah, with Shelby.." I said, having a feeling that he wasn't too happy about this.
