Alex walked into the book shop and closed the door quickly behind him, moving his dark brown hair out of his face, he noticed only one other person in the shop, a girl, looking at pop up books he smiled and straightened out his brown jacket a bit his fringe fell across one of his chocolate eyes.

He walked casually over to her "A bit old to be looking for pop up books aren't you?" He joked smiling and leaning against the bookshelf infront of her "Good choice though, it amazes many kids" He nodded slightly as if he knew what he was talking about, truth being, he had absolulty no idea.

[/b] She said with a slight nod as she put one book back. 'The Muggle Who Cried Wizard'. "You seem to know a little about books, know any that my daughter might like?" Her smile widened.

Alex laughed slightly "Know a bit about books? Nope not at all but I reckon I know what your daughter might like, all the kids i've known have loved it, i'll go get it for you" He winked at her and wandered over to the shop owner and said something to him in hushed tones, the owner went and got a book and handed it to Alex.

Alex wandered back over to her, and produced a book with a blank cover and plain pages "She'll like this one i'm sure" He said offering to to her.

[/b] Bella laughed and watched as he walked towards the shop owner. For a moment she thought back to when she read to Dillon and Ashlyn. She wished that she could go back to that and forget everything that had happened these past few months. when the guy came back over to her she took the book politely and started to search for a title. "What's it called?" She asked before looking back up to him.[/size][/ul]

Alex laughed when he saw her searching for a title, he grabbed the book to simple stop her from looking "It will be called whatever your daughter wants it to be called, to me and you it's blank, but for a child its a book full of adventures, mysteries and anything else their imagination can think of" He replied in a mysterious tone.

[/b] Bella smiled, imagining the reaction she hoped she would get. "Isabella Cl- Parker." She brushed off the mistake she almost made and held out her hand. You can call me Bella though."[/size][/ul]

"No problem Bella, the names Alex, Alex Arturus" he replied taking her hand and kissing it lightly.

[/b] Bella blushed slightly when he kissed her hand. "S- So did you go to Hogwarts? I swear I've seen you before." She pulled her hand away slowly back to her side.[/size][/ul]

"Yeah I did, and yeah alot of people say that, I know a few people here and there, and i'm not someone you'de want to forget in a hurry if you know what I mean" He replied a grin on his face noticing her blushing he said "A bit warm are you?" He joked winking at her.

[/b] When he commented her on her blush she shook her head. "Nah, I think I'm fine."[/size][/ul]

Alex laughed slightly "No I don't think I ever met up with you, maybe you were out of me league " He smiled at her

[/b] Bella said with a small smile. She was actually the quiet one back in school. "You might have been out of my league though." She shrugged.[/size][/ul]

Alex raised an eyebrow "Yeah maybe that to, i'm not exactly a looker" He smiled

[/b] Bella shrugged again and laughed. "I'm not really doing anything and I don't feel like going home right now, wanna go get coffee?" She took the book from him and started slowly towards the cash register.[/size][/ul]

Alex laughed "Bella, you are a good looking girl, trust me" He smiled warmly at her and followed her to the counter "Yeah coffee, sounds great, my treat?" He asked.

[/b] Bella laid the book on the counter and searched in her purse for her wallet. When she found it she took out a galleon and handed it to the man at the register. "Oh, well I was goint o say my treat, but sure, thanks." She grabbed the book as she headed towards the door.[/size][/ul]

Alex followed her "Well I couldn't let a lady pay now could I?" He said raising his eyebrows slightly and grabbing the door and opening it for her so she could go out.

[/i]..."[/b] She said with a laugh. "Thank you." Bella stopped for a minute to find the nearest coffee shop. She pushed her lips to the side as she walked towards the shop to the left of Floursh and Blotts. "So, how's life?" She asked randomly.[/size][/ul]

Alex smiled and followed her still "Life, well it's normal, how about yours?" Alex didn't like the subject of life much.

[/b] Bella shrugged as her smile faded slightly and pushed door open to the coffee shop. She ordered a medium french vanilla before sitting at a table. "So, Mr. Arturus, what do you do in your spare time? A hobby or what not."[/size][/ul]

Alex followed her into the shop and breathed in the smell of coffee and ordered a slice of chocolate cake and sat down at a table with her. "Hmm, what do I do in my spare time? I wander around, I guess trying to find something to do, I don't know many people except a lot of girls who have some ancient grudge against me." He laughed "How about you miss Parker?"

[/b] She teased, grinning. "Nothing really. Just a mom." Her shoulders drooped slightly. She wasn't that great of a mom anymore.[/size][/ul]

Alex pulled a shocked face he was messing around and trying to make her laugh, he took a mouthful of the cake which had just been brought over with Two forks. "Cool" He smiled "You ok Bella?" He asked

Alex laughed a little "Good good, and hey your not my mum" He said jokingly he pushed a fork towards her in case she wanted some and raised his eyebrow at her.

[/b] She took the fork and took her a piece of the cake. "Thank you." She said with her mouth full.[/size][/ul]

Alex smiled and tutted "Hey young lady no talking with your mouthful" He replied in a mock telling off he laughed "But your welcome" He smiled taking another forkful himself.

Alex laughed so much he almost choked on his mouthful "Mrs.Arturus? What a question, no there isn't, why interested?" He joked.
