Chocolate Surprise [Open]

[/b]"Screamed Lizzy as she turned around from the tree she was facing. She grinned as she began to run in the back yard searching behind each tree searching for her siblings. "I'm going to find you guys!She shouted as she laughed as she ran to each good hiding spot. Courtney shook her head as she saw the twins run back to the spot they were just hiding at. She let a small laugh escape her lips. How happy he would be to find out that he finally got what he wanted a boy. She thought as she smiled at Ethan.

She stood up and glanced at her mother as she walked through the door. It seemed like she was always at her mother's house. But she didn't mind. Her mother loved seeing her grandchildren like any normal grandmother does. It was kind of odd leaving them here when she finally had a day to herself. She had been planing this for quite sometime but she never seemed to get around to it. Well until today that is. She ran her fingers through her hair as she jumped into the car. Her step-father had to chose to live next to muggles. Well he had to since her was a teacher and didn't really seem to adjust to her mother using magic all the time.

It wasn't before long that she parked her car outside her house, but instead of getting out she apparated from there to Hogsmeade. Normally she wouldn't even think about apperating from her car, but there house was surrounded by thick woods that she didn't think anyone would of even noticed. Eric would always bring her chocolate frogs. It was what she craved the most when she was pregnant. Though it had been almost three years since he passed away. She felt as if it was a never ending pain. Something that she would have to live with her entire existence. She bit her lip as she aimlessly watched the people in front of her. She really had no idea where she wanted to go and it probably wouldn't help her situation with a street full of crowded people to run into someone, but that's what she did."Oi! Watch where your going."She said to the person as she backed away.[/size][/ul]

I was on my break. Which was why I was walking through Hogsmeade. Dumbledore asked if I could help out Pomfrey again, so since I had today off, I took his offer and was here as fast as I could be. The girls still weren't too happy with me, so they didn't really care that I was gone either, so that worked. My mum was watching them again, along with Justin.

Everything had been such a mess lately. Sort of. I guess it really depends on what you would call a mess. The divorce was now basically final and I still wasn't really too sure what was going on with me and Arden. And on top of that, her friend Logan, probably really would like to kill me for some reason I am unsure of.

I was just walking down the cobblestone road trying to decide where to go, when I ran right into someone. I looked over at them, hearing what they said.
"Sorry." I said apoligetically to the girl. "I wasn't paying much attention.. You alright?"

There she went again over exaggerating this little accident. She shook her head at herself and ran her fingers through her hair. She sighed and glanced up at the man she ran into."Ah, sorry....I ran into you, but I'm alright you?"She asked a bit more calmly. She couldn't believe how badly she overreacted. Practically biting this poor man's head off, it should of been her who should of been paying attention. Letting her thoughts get the best of her didn't really help the situation. She could help but stare at the man, he didn't appear to be any older then her. And like her it seemed like he had been preoccupied with things just like she had."Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude....I just lost my train of thought."She explained smiling apologetically. She hated getting distracted from her train of thought. Every time she would get distracted it always took her forever to come back to what she was thinking about in the first place.

I shook my head a little bit, as she apoligised. "Really, it's alright.. I'm fine." I told her with a small smile. She did seem quite sincere now. That seemed to happen to me a bit around here. I run into someone, they're rude, I apoligise and then they apoligise right back at me.
"It's easy to run into people out here.. gets crowded." I said with a small smile still. I was in a surprisely okay mood today. I don't know why really, things weren't going all that great, but I just was.

She just stood there not sure what to say or do anymore. Why had she come out here in the first place? It was certainly not to run into people and practically bite their heads off that was for sure. She stuck out her hand to him and smiled."How about we start over? Hello, I'm Courtney nice to of ran into you.She said with a bit of a laugh as she ran her fingers though her hair with her free hand. She looked at him thinking that there was something familiar about him as if she seen him before. That was her memory always giving out on here when she need to remember things the most."Yeah, I guess especially when you have things on your mind."She nodded.

I laughed a little bit at what she said and nodded a little bit, shaking her hand after she held it out to you. "Nice to run into you too, Courtney." I said back to her, smiling a little bit. "I'm Riley ." I added a moment later when I realised I hadn't really introduced myself.
"Definately, which is probably why I ran into you." Isaid with a small chuckle.

[/b]"She asked him quietly. "Well anyways it's nice to meet you Riley. Oh well then that was my reason for running into you as well. I'm always day dreaming and not really paying attention so I totally understand."She grinned. "So um, what brings you out here...if its alright for me to ask."She smiled.[/size][/ul]

"Um.. I don't know.. you do look sort of famliar.. Did you go to Hogwarts?" I asked, it being the first thing to pop up in my mind.
"That's good." I said with a small chuckle and smile back to her. Really, I wasn't day dreaming and what I was thinking about wasn't really pleasant, but same difference anyway, right? "Oh, I'm actually just on my break from the Hospital Wing.. Thought I'd walk around a bit." I told her smling back.

[/b]"She joked. "Acutally yes, gryffindor was my house and by the sounds of it....Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff if I'm not mistaken. Oh, so you work at Hogwarts with Madam....sorry I could never pronounce her named."She said with a small laugh."So are the kids getting to so much trouble you have to take a break?"She joked.[/size][/ul]

I laughed a little bit at what she said, "Actually you never know lately." I said with a small shrug. She told me that she did and I smiled some with a slight nod. "Good guess, Ravenclaw it was.. and you might've known me through Riyann Servansikk? She was in your house.." I said nodding a little bit, slightly wishing I didn't bring up Riyann. "Oh, I'm only helping out some.. It's just occasional here." I smiled with a small shrug. "And no, acutally, there's nothing much happening over there.. and I was bored." I chuckled.

She nodded when he told her that he was only helping out."Wow, I'd never thought that the hospital wing would be actually boring."She said sarcastically with a small smile. "But Ministry work is no day in the park either."She told him with a brief nod.[/size][/ul]

"Oh, okay.. alright, I'm guessing it wasn't through her then.." I said with a small smile and chuckle. "But yeah... you familar too.." I told her nodding slightly, and thinking about it for a moment. "Got it," I grinned slightlty, "you were in the order." I nodded.
I laughed slightly, "It is here.. sometimes.. but sometimes you get some pretty crazy things.. so those're good days." I chuckled with a smile. "And I know what you mean.. I work there too."

[/b]She asked curiously. "Well, I'm not surprised...I have the worst time remembering names and faces and all that sort of things....it's not really my thing. I knew you looked familiar and someone was always or sometimes with you....was that Riyann?"She laughed softly.
She raised her eyebrows in surprise. Who would of thought that he also worked in the Ministry it had to be a different department. Since she really didn't see him around her floor other wise she wouldn't of had that much trouble remembering him since she would see him like almost everyday."Really that's cool, what department are you currently working in?"She asked him with a smile.[/ul][/size]

"Oh um.. we were until recently." I said with a small nod and ghost of a smile on my lips. "That's alright, I can understand that.. and yeah, it was usually with her." I said with a small smile. At least when she wasn't meeting with the death eaters.
"Oh, well, it's not really in a department.. I'm just an on staff healer.. Used to heal the auror's.. but not much use for that anymore." I told her with a small shrug.

"Ah, but without you and anyone like you....without you guys, the auror's we be nothing. You know how stubborn us gryffies can be."She said with a wink. "I know since I'm in the department of Magical Law Enforcement. Things tend to get a bit wild, well when your not stuck behind your desk filing paperwork. But there is the occasional paper cut. I think I can mange to heal those myself though."She smiled slightly.[/size][/ul]

I smiled slightly toward her and shook my head a little bit. "Nah.. It's alright.. I'm actually the one that broke it off.. It's still hard though.." I told her sort of quietly. It was hard because I still loved her and she decided to go and off my sister, 'just because'. I'd been hurt enough and I decided that it was time to end it.. even if I did still sort of love her.. somehow. "Thanks though.." I smiled.
I laughed a little and nodded, "Definately know.. lived with one for ten years." I said with a soft chuckle. "And yeah, I bet they do.. and paperwork is... terrible. I'm glad I don't have to do a lot of it."
I chuckled a little bit. "That's good.. paper cuts are pretty terrbile too though."

[/b]"She told him as she moved out of the way of the crowded street. "Alright,...'She nodded when he said he would be alright. "I know, its like someone took your heart and smashed it into unrepairable pieces. Oh, your welcome...I'm sure anyone would do the same."She nodded. "Really ten years....only half for me...unfortunately. He was in ravenclaw as well."She smiled faintly. "Well aren't you lucky."She shook her head.[/size][/ul]

I smiled and chuckled a little bit. "I would love some.. but I'm not letting you pay for it." I told her, shaking my head a little bit. I nodded at what she said. "Yeah.. it is like that.." I said agreeing with her and biting my lip faintly for a second.
"Oh really? Who was he?" I asked curiously. "I was in Ravenclaw." I added, now wondering if maybe I knew who she was talking about. "And yeah.. I guess I am a bit."

[/b]"She pouted slightly."Oh, I get it...were going to shoplift some chocolate frogs..?"She asked with a laugh. "Are you always like this to people who run into you?"She asked curiously as she started to walk once more, this time in the direction of Honeydukes. "Your almost as worse at remembering things as me."She said with a smile. "He was also in the order...except her was a double agent.He was the tall guy that was always next to me at the meeting remember?"She said with a small laugh. " Eric..Eric Marter."She said the smile not fading from her lips.[/size][/ul]

I chuckled a little bit, "Cause you don't have to pay for me." I smiled, shaking my head slightly, "And no, I wasn't planning on shoplifting them" I laughed.
"What do you mean?" I asked with a small smile. "What am I being like?" I asked her curiously. I wasn't really positive how I was when I met people.
I smiled and laughed a little, "Right.. Sorry." I chuckled. "I remember him now." I smiled.

[/b]"She asked with a laugh. "Oh, I just meant that your being like me, when I forget things...I didn't mean anything by it."She smiled. "Your so nice even when I was being mean to you...how do you do it?"She asked curiously. "Yeah we met at the Ministry...and yeah."She laughed softly.[/size][/ul]

I chuckled slightly, "Not very often." I admitted to her, shaking my head faintly. She explained herself slightly and I nodded, "Oh okay." I smiled. "I got'cha.." A moment later she commented on me being nice and I laughed a little bit again. "Um.. When were you being mean?" I asked curiosuly with a small smile. "I just.. like being nice." I shrugged a little bit.
"Cool.." I smiled, nodding faintly.

She nodded when he told her that he didn't get treated to things very often."Alright see, now don't make me beg you right her and now to buy you some chocolate frogs."She told him with all honest. She smiled."Well, I mean who wouldn't you wouldn't have any problems with people...but being nice isn't all its cracked up to be."She joked.

"Oh." I laughed a little bit. "That wasn't too bad.. Understandable, actually." I said smiling a little bit, putting my hands in my pockets as we walked. I laughed a little, "And don't make me have to refuse your begging. You really don't have to buy me anything." I smiled, shaking my head faintly to her.
I chuckled slgihtly, "What do you mean?" I Asked after she said being nice wasn't all it was cracked up to being.

[/b]"She laughed as she opened the door and held it open for Riley to come inside Honeydukes as well. She let her eyes wander around the store. It had been a while since the last time she had come here. Sure she would stop by time to time, but she never really stayed long enough to look through most of the candy.
"Well, it may not be true for everyone that's like super nice, but they sort of see, to take everything like getting blamed for things. I don't know things like that. It's like they don't want to cause any problems so they keep everything to themselves. Sorry I'm really bad at explaining."She shrugged slightly.[/size][/ul]

I laughed a little bit and just shook my head faintly, smiling widely. "Thanks." I said smiling when she held the door open for me. "And if you're really going to make such a big deal out of it, then I'll let you." I chuckled. I didn't really feel like making a big deal out of this today.
"No, I know what you're saying.." I said shaking my head a little bit with a small smile. "That makes sense.. and yeah, that does happen sometimes." I nodded a little bit.

I laughed a little bit, smiling to her. "Yeah.. I didn't think that I would either.. but I decided that I don't really feel like arguing today." I chuckled, keeping the smile on my lips. I still didn't really want her to buy me anything though. If I could buy it, I didn't want someone else to, especially someone I haven't seen in years.
