I laughed a little bit and nodded, looking over at her. "Because it's easy to forget... Kind of like if you can't remember how old your brother or sister is.." I added, then wondering if she even had that problem. I know that I did.. when I actually had a brother and sister.

I scoff at that, shaking my head. "Oh, well that one is easy enough. I'd as soon forget how old they are as I would how old I/i] am. But, then again, you might do that."

"True," I agree, half-rolling my eyes and then looking down at the sidewalk because it feels like we ought to start a new subject... something less light and more meaningful... but I just don't know what.

I nodded slightly, smiling a little more as I saw her roll her eyes slightly. After knowing Arden for so long, I feel like I should know what to say. And now that I started to think of something, the only thing coming to my mind was Lilian and I didn't think I should bring that up again.
