Cam sat down next to the lake, all she needed was to get away from it all, it had been a long few weeks and she knew she needed to get out a bit. Cam was wearing her black jeans, and low cut blue top, it was one of her favourite outfits her long blonde hair which today was curly flowed freely across her face dancing with the light breeze in the air.
Looking out over the lake Cam could see the reflection of the moon, it was a full moon. Cam heard a howling in the distance she laughed to herself ”Hmm werewolf night” she listened to the leaves rustling all around her, some how it soothed her restlessness. Her aqua blue eyes glistened in the dancing moon light which illuminated them in a mysterious misty way.
Cam stood up and walked over to the edge of the lake and climbed onto some rocks of which she had climbed on many times, she stood there and allowed the wind to swirl around her. Cam heard something crack behind her, it was unusual for people to be out at this time of night she turned quickly ”Who’s there?” she said while turning. Her foot slipped and she fell backward, letting out a scream and fell with a big splash into the lake.

I was so worried. In fact, I don't think I could be anymore worried. But on top of being worried, I also just didn't know what to think about anything. Maybe Riyann was right, maybe I didn't love her as much as I thought I did. I sighed as I walked out to the lake. Really, one of the last places I wanted to be right now. I really wasn't even sure how I ended up here.
I heard some ask who was there a few moments after I neared the edge of the lake and I jumped slightly, looking over to where the voice came from to see a splash of water.
I definately didn't mean to do that, and I hoped that whoever it was, was okay and not hurt r anything.
I ran over to the edge, waiting to see if she was going to come up, I hoped she would, I didn't really feel like jumping in after her, but I would if I had to. "You okay?" I called looking in the water.

After the shock of falling in the river Cam swam back up to the surface spluttering and gasping for breath then noticing a face looking down on her "Thanks for the help"[/] she said sarcastically sticking her thumb up to him "Do I really look ok to you?" Cam snapped slightly this wasn't normally like her but she was just in one of them moods and being in freezing cold water didn't help much either.

I shook my head slightly, caught slightly offgaurd by how she was speaking to me. But hey, I really couldn't blame her. I probably wouldn't be too happy about falling in the lake either. Not mention it wasn't exactly warm water. I would know having fallen in it on multiple occasions.
"Um.. no. Sorry." I said, in a hopefully apologetic voice as I held a hand out to her to help her out of the water if she needed it.

Cam looked at him but took the extend hand "Pull" She said climbing out of the lake now sitting at the side shivering "That water is bloody cold!"

I rolled my eyes faintly as she said pull and pulled anyway. I was going to anyway, I mean, it was part of helping someone out of water, wasn't it? "I know.." I said with a small nod, seeing her shivering and shrugging off my jacket and holding it out to her if she wanted it. "Look, I'm really sorry, I didn't even see you there.. didn't mean to scare you." Cam looked at the jacket extended to her "You didn't scare me, I slipped " She said going slightly red she wasn't going to tell him that he had scared her. Taking the jacket from him she put it round herself "Thanks" she said to him nodding slightly.

I smiled a little bit, when she said I didn't scare her, but nodded. "If you insist. Just kind of assumed." I said with a small shrug, even though I was still pretty sure that yes, she did slip because of the fact that I scared her.
"You're welcome." I told her after she said thanks, with a sligt nod to her. "Now are you sure you're okay? You didn't.. hit your head or anything?" I asked, my job getting the best of me now. Being a healer sort of influenced how I acted around people, escpecially after they fall in lakes.

Cam looked at him "I'm fine, just a bit cold and wet because well I just fell in the lake..." Cam said sarcastically, she wasn't normally this sarcastic but she didn't know this man and he was asking her alot of questions missing out the whole introduction thing "And seriously you didn't scare me, so you can stop making that face now, because i can tell what your thinking" litterally Cam thought shivering

I nodded faintly, choosing to just try and ignore the constant sarcastic phrases she was giving me. So I guess she was fine.. just not in a very good mood anymore.. if she was even in a good one before. I honestly wouldn't know that.
"Okay, I believe you. The rocks get slippery over here." I said nodding a little bit.
"Um.. I'm Riley.." I said finally, holding a hand out to her.

Cam nodded and looked at his hand when he held it out Cam took it and shook it firmly "Nice to meet you Riley, i'm Cameron, but you can call me Cam " She smiled warmly she couldn't have him thinking she was totally heartless now could she?

Bi-Polar much? I thought to myself for a moment, after I took my hand back from shaking my hand. Least it doesn't seem like she hates me.. I added in my mind. Really I didn't have a problem with her. I wasn't expecting her to be cheery after falling in there.
"Nice to meet you too, Cam." I told her with a small smile back. "SO um.. I bet my jacket's doing absolutely nothing.. You should probably get some dry clothes on.. or sit by a fire."

Cam laughed at his thoughts Shut up Cam! She thought she must have looked like a right idiot just laughing at nothing. "No it's doing fine" she smiled but it was starting to get as wet at she was "You know great suggestions only I have no clothes and no fire" She laughed finding it funny, but did he share her humor?

I looked over to her as she started to laugh, slgihtly wondering why and gave her a slightly confused look, still smiling anyway though. "That's good." I said with a faint chuckle, her laughter sort of rubbing off on me for a second.
"Ah, okay.. I just assumed you were a student.. but we are still at Hogwarts, so I think we can find you a fire." I said smiling.

Cam sat there thinking for a moment "Well i've only just come back I ran about 6 years ago, so about 8?" She said unsure, she shrugged "So what you doing out here at this time, it's dangerous in case you didn't know" She said nodding up towards the full moon.

Cam looked at him her eyes illuminated by the moon "I wouldn't get hurt not out here, I have friends" She laughed she probably sounded totally loopy but she didn't care. "Normally people don't just go for walks at this of night, and yeah I know that souds hypicritical because i'm out here to, but i have good reason" She nodded then looking up to the moon her blue eyes glistening in the light "It is a beautiful night though" She said quietly.

I was slightly curious just exactly who her friends were. I had no idea what she really meant, but hopefully she didn't mean Death Eaters becuase that was the last thing that I needed right now.
I shrugged a little bit. "I can take care of myself.. but yeah.. just doing some thinking, so it's easier to do it at night.. for some reason." I said shaking my head a little bit with a small chuckle. "Yeah.. it is nice." I smiled.

I shrugged a little and went over to sit by her where she was patting the ground. "Okay.. Um.. What do you want to show me then?" I asked as I sat down. "Not much out here I haven't seen.." I said with a small smile.

Cam laughed slightly "Right close your eyes and concentrate on the image of the moon you saw on the lake, then listen to what I say then when i'm finshed say the first thing that popped into your head, don't think just say yeah?" Cam asked waiting for him to comply or refuse.

I laughed a little, wondering what this was doing exactly but nodded. "Okay.. you got it." I said with a small smile, closing my eyes and doing what she told me to as I waited for her start.

Cam watched as he closed his eyes "Right now imagine the moon in all it's vibrancy, and you standing in the middle of the lake it's depth coming up to only your knee's, imagine what it feels like, the water lapping against your legs, the wind rustling the leave around you, now what are you thinking, don't think about it just say it" She said watching him intently , some times this worked really well others it failed dismally.

I did what she said, imagining everything she told me to. When she was finished talking and asked me what I was thinking, I paused for a moment, shaking my head a little bit. "Nothing came to me." I said opening my eyes and looking over to her. "I was too busy imganing it to have anything come to mind I think.."

Cam looked slightly disappointed "Oh..." she sighed "You weren't meant to think about it if you know what i mean? Just like lets it come to you, but oh well." She shrugged laying back still huddled up in Riley's jacket.
